...and what I got up to!
Ok guys, as it's the last weekend of the month, I thought I'd do a round up of what I got up to and what I've been loving this month.
The hubby and I celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary this month! Quite a milestone. It only seems like yesterday that I walked up the aisle to become Mrs Marshall at the grand old age of 22.
Here's to the next 29!
I have to admit that I haven't actually done much sewing this month, apart from the mini bunting tutorial I made. Have you checked it out yet?
I had the best of intentions but time got away from me.
I'm trying not to be too hard on myself, because I'm giving most of my time and energy to my shadow and creative assistant, Juno. She continues to amaze me everyday and is still very much enjoying playing in the garden, chasing the pigeons and shouting at passers-by.
I have been re-watching "Once Upon A Time..." from the beginning, and loving it all over again.
If you're not familiar with it, it's about an alternative realm where, you guessed it, fairytale characters live. It's very definitely for grown-ups though, some of it is quite dark with Robert Carlyle's "Rumplstiltskin" stealing the show most episodes.
I have to admit that I'm the only one in my family that watches it, but that means I can enjoy it in peace!
I have to say this is my favourite social media platform by far.
Some of my favourite new finds are:
babygrey.co.uk who sell amazing luxury rocking chairs perfect for the modern nursery
littlecottonfrocks gorgeous, traditional cotton dresses made with love by the very talented Kathryn
applegreencottage perfect beginner sewing projects, and they're FREE
I'd love to know what you've been creating or enjoying this month. Let me know in the comments below, or tag me on Instagram using #gaynormdesigns.
Until next time...
